The PADI Deep Diver Specialty course offers you the opportunity of a lifetime – going deep to see thing others can only dream about.
If you’re like most people, even after your first few dives, you wanted to explore deeper. There’s just something exciting and mysterious about the ocean’s depths. So if you’ve already taken your PADI Advanced Open Water course or even the Adventure Diver half-certification course — you can dive into the PADI Deep Diver specialty.
With it, you’ll be licensed to go the maximum recreational dive limit of 40 m. / 130 ft.
After your first few scuba dives, you soon want to explore a bit deeper. There’s something exciting and mysterious about the depth that attracts dives.
The Fun Part
The fun part about this course is the opportunity to explore the deep. It’s exhilarating.

Minimum Open Water Training: Four dives over two days
Prerequisites
First you need to be either PADI Advanced Open Water Diver certified or Adventure Diver.
You also need to be at least 15 years old.
You’ll need to purchase the PADI Deep Diver manual or optionally the full “Deep Pak” with video.
Your Next Adventure
Many shipwrecks are often found in deeper water. That’s why the PADI Deep Diver course is a natural companion to the PADI Wreck Diver course. Sometimes you can take these two specialties concurrently.
Other training to consider is the PADI Enriched Air Diver course on your way to PADI Master Scuba Diver

Deep scuba diving equipment considerations - Experience in planning, organizing and making at least four deep dives under the supervision of your PADI Instructor
