Pattaya - Wreck Capital of Thailand
Divers exploring a wreck
Pattaya is fortunate to have the most wrecks within a short distance from the city, within recreational dive limits and are very beautiful to dive on and in.
Pattaya wreck dives include the Hardeep, the Bremen, the Khram, Kood and Mataphon. These wreck dives are also good training sites for your PADI Deep and Wreck Specialty courses.

Because of the easy accessibility of all the wrecks most dive shops will have daily trips to dive on one of them, or maybe even more.
The Harddeep wreck is a special trip for the diveshops in the Pattaya Area, as it is a 45 min drive towards the fishermen town of Satahip before getting on the boat. The main diveshops in the area have their own boat in the Samae San (Satahip) Pier and will conduct dives on the Harddeep from it.
Just ask the dive shop of your preference on their wreck diving program.

The Mataphon is a smaller landingship that has been sunk just out of koh Larn. Other wrecks in the area, that are less dive on and mainly via special booked trips, are:
